A recipe generator for what is already in your kitchen

recipegenerator.net is a free tool that turns the food you already have into a complete recipe. Type the ingredients in your fridge or pantry, or name the dish you feel like eating, and an AI model writes quantities, timings, and a method you can cook from. No account, no credits, no subscription.

Why we built it

Most recipe sites start with a dish and send you shopping for it. Dinner usually works the other way around: you open the fridge, see what is left, and try to make something decent out of it. Search results rarely match that reality, and the alternatives — a fixed archive or a general-purpose chatbot — either cannot see your ingredients or forget the food-safety details.

A generator built around your input solves that ordering problem. It can weigh the ingredients you actually have, how many people you are feeding, the cuisine you feel like, and the time you can spare, then write one recipe that fits all of it at once.

How it works

You describe what you have or what you want. Our server passes that prompt, together with your filters, to the AI model provider that writes the recipe. The response comes back to your browser with per-serving nutrition estimates, substitutions, and storage guidance. We do not keep a copy of the generated recipe on our servers, and saved favourites stay in your browser's local storage.

What we believe

• The core generator should stay free and work without an account.
• Your ingredients and prompts are not our content; we only process them to answer you.
• AI output should be labelled as AI output, not dressed up as tested kitchen authority.
• Dietary and allergy filters are a starting point, never a guarantee.

What this is not

This is not a recipe publisher, a meal-plan subscription, or a source of medical and dietary advice. Recipes are generated on demand and have not been kitchen-tested by us. Read the method before you start, taste as you go, check product labels for allergens, and use your own judgement about doneness and food safety.
